  • How is Block Printing done on Fabric?
    The simplest way to explain would be: Sheesham wood blocks are carved by expert artisans and cured. The dyes are prepared and are poured into wooden trays. The fabric is stretched out over long tables and held on all sides. Each block is dipped into the dye and stamped on the fabric. The fabric is completely dried out in the sun. The traditional way is to steam the fabric before a wash.
  • Do Block Printed Fabrics bleed?
    Mostly Yes, depending on the designs. Water temperature plays an important role in washing these fabrics, It is hence recommended to wash these garments separately. Unless they are deep colors, there is not much to worry of bleeding or crocking
  • What care should be taken with Cotton clothes?
    Cotton being a natural fibre. It therefore is soft and breathable, specially during the heat. Cotton requires a fair amount of care. The first wash is always better when it is handwashed. If you do not have the time, machine wash is ok too, but when its cold water, low spin and airdried. Avoid direct spraying of perfumes/deodarants on the fabrics
  • What other types of BlockPrint are practiced in India?
    In India, Each region has come up with their own styles of blockprinting. Few names would Include Bagh, Ajarakh, Kalamkari, Dabu and many more.
  • How do I order my Items?
    Since we are not fully an E-Commerce Site, we request you to note the Item code, size and write a message on Whatsapp(Business account) or an E-Mail through the order form.   • How do I pay for the Items ordered?
    Once you confirm your items, We will send you back an E-Mail with the final price, after calculating the postage. Along with this the E-Mail will include payment options with a QR Code. You can transfer via TWINT or BANK TRANSFER.
  • How will the items be posted?
    We will use the SWISS POST service for all couriers. Also, pick up from the Business address at Schaffhauserstrasse, 474B, 8052 Zurich is also possible.
  • Is VAT included?
    Currently, because we are a small business, we are not charging you Vat.
